Aha! I knew you'd want to know more!

But honestly, I'm so glad you stopped by to check out my website!
A bit about me personally:
I’m married to Russell, and have two gorgeous kids, two tabby cats and a cute fluffy mutt called Bobby. We live in the beautiful hill suburb of Mt Pleasant where we have an awesome community feel. We love it here.
I'm an ex professional ballet dancer so I know how to pose people and I especially love photographing dancers.
My family is large, musical and close (not logistically unfortunately) and when we do get the chance to spend holidays with each other, I love the fact we are all in the same room together. Makes my heart sing.
I recently took up drumming which I LOOOOVE so much! I remember when I was 29 that I wanted to have a drum lesson before I turned 30 and it's taken me 20 years to do that!
That’s me in a nutshell really. Love simple things, love being at home, love my friends & family, love life.
Ok so why photography? And why should you choose me?
Photography didn’t find me until I was in my late 30’s (after I'd had Harry) but when it did, boy it stuck around and my husband would probably say it’s a bit of an obsession (like your old cars, huh Russ?).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job. I want to create a beautiful piece of artwork for your wall. I want to capture a moment in time for you, so you'll look back on it in years to come with fondness and love. People say I make them feel at ease which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. I have a great sense of humour which really helps too when couples are nervous!
My gear is all Canon - I use pro gear and lenses which are all regularly serviced and cleaned. I work out of my studio mainly, and use Multiblitz lighting and I absolutely LOVE studio light now! It's been a huge learning curve and still is, but I love the predictability and consistency studio lighting brings.
Your baby's safety is my priority - you may be interested to know that a few of those 'must have' shots are actually composites - mum or dad's hands are holding baby's head and then are edited out in Photoshop. Baby's comfort is of utmost importance so if they don't want to go into a pose I DO NOT FORCE IT. I ALWAYS wear my camera strap around my neck when photographing overhead - it's just common sense but you'd be surprised how many photographers (yes, even some really really famous photographers) don't use their camera strap. Cameras are heavy things and I wouldn't want one dropped on my head, let alone a baby's head. If you're shopping around for photographers, please ask about how they go about making it safe for your baby.
Backing up my images is so important to me - I have at least 3 locations I copy my images to so I feel very safe using this process!
It’s really humbling for me, being chosen as someone’s photographer – not only that but to be your baby or wedding photographer – wow! It’s an absolutely amazing day and no two babies (or weddings!) are the same.
Anyway that’s definitely enough about me – I want to know about YOU!
