Capitol City Band - promo shoot

Written by Angela on June 29th, 2020.      0 comments

We braved the cold yesterday and met in town for Capitol City band's photo shoot for their upcoming gig - playing songs from the movie The Commitments. We shot just long enough to miss the rain but it was perfect weather for this shoot!

Make sure you book your tickets through Cosmic Ticketing - it's gonna sell out. And make sure you follow these guys on Facebook and Instagram - they regularly post rehearsals and are sounding soooo good. :)

Nature prints

I am loving shooting for this nature series - mostly I like flowers which I love turning into fine art prints.  Will have these up on my website soon and eventually you'll be able to purchase directly through the site (currently you have to email me). Anyway, here are some more flowers - shot around Christchurch City during winter. Still heaps of things to shoot - so grateful I'm able to be a photographer, especially in this amazing Country. :)

Happy little accidents

Anyone else love Bob Ross? I'm sure he's the author of the saying "happy little accidents" which is what happened when I dusted off my Lensbaby and took her out for a spin in the garden today. It's a bit of a steep learning curve, this Lensbaby stuff so I was stoked when the wind threw these beauties all over the place and I lost focus :D

Not sure how best to showcase them though - just one or all three?

This wee poppet has the most gorgeous smile! She was in the studio for her one year photo shoot and what a wee darling x

Botanical images

I've been dabbling in a bit of flora photography lately - mainly using my macro lens which I'm in LOVE with. I was out in Rangiora by the Cust River and the frost was amazing!  (The freesia and carnation were not found by the riverside, by the way!) :)
